A Virtual Tour of the New Youth Room!

The Youth of Chapel Hill UMC meet on Sunday evenings from 4PM – 6:30PM and on Wednesday Evenings from 5:30PM-7:00PM for Bible Study. The Youth group is available to young people in the 6th grade through the 12th grade. During this time we focus on what it means to be young disciples of Jesus Christ. The lessons involve games and discussion. We use Cokesbury’s Linc curriculum that is designed to connect the Christian faith to everyday life.  During the year we participate in the life of the church through worship and ministries. Annually the youth go to a United Methodist event called Warmth in Winter. During this time we are privileged to worship and learn with young United Methodist from all over Middle Tennessee.

Our purpose is to learn what it means to live by God’s grace and to celebrate this great transforming gift. So our motto is Halleboojah! We want to praise God with Hallelujah and celebrate the gift of God’s grace with a big Boo-yah.

November 2014

Wednesday Night Bible Study is currently reading the Book of Exodus together.  We would love to see you there.  On Sunday Evenings we are preparing for Advent and Christmas together and learning what it means to receive the Savior.  See you then!
